Final Day

The day of hand-in for the unit.

Overall the standard has been very good with some outstanding work being done. Those students that regularly came to class and updated their blogs have grasped the unit very well and come up with unique and fresh work. Those students that have left everything until the last few weeks and even days - it shows. I am very concerned about the level of work from some of you - actually I am shocked by some levels of work being well below even high school standard. It was so important to keep on top of your work load and show care and attention. It was also vital to provide essential information required for the marking criteria - this included capturing your processes, research, work development and video's of software use and behind the scenes. Also the presentation of your work needs to be top notch.

For hand-in today please remember to provide:
1. A4 Sheet with your web address of your blog
2. Your final assignments presented in a professional way and to a high degree level standard
3. Your final assignments on a cd or dvd or usb stick

The evaluation - you have to evaluate each assignment either:
1500 words in total for both or a video or audio blog (10-20 mins)

You have to answer the following in your evaluations as shown on the marking criteria shown below.
HAVE YOU DESCRIBED THE ASSIGNMENTS CLEARLY AND CONCISELY ?
HAVE YOU CONSIDERED AND EXAMINED THE MERITS AND PROBLEMS OF THE ASSIGNMENTS?
HAVE YOU INCLUDED FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS AND WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY?

New work

All work for this unit ideally needs to be done in this semester. For the first time on this unit I have had numerous students thinking they can use content done before the start of the unit?
If the old content is a very small part of the outcome then that is fine. You should also be aware that you cannot use content from other units. You cannot be marked twice for the same work.
